LAKRS for members
- Organises negotiations, represents and defends socio-economic rights and interests by signing collective agreements.
- Offers free legal consultations:
- on work rights issues;
- on compensation for damage to health.
- Prepares applications to employment arbitration commissions and for court cases.
- Represents and defends befor the courts.
- Provides information about the Unio's news in the paper "LAKRS VESTIS".
- Educates activists for union work.
- Presents members demands in three-way talks between employers, the government and unions.
- Provides opportunities to gain new experience in trade union work through cooperation with related Trade Unions in Scandinavia and other European countries.
- Provides opportunities to actively participate in union activities, in decision making, and to be a candidate for offices in the union
- A Fund of Protection of social interests has been established, and one-off material assistance can be given in the event of:
- Workplace accidents;
- Hospitalization;
- Long term convalescence at home;
- Treatment in sanatoriums,
- The birth of children, and others.
- Unites active young people in the YOUTH CENTRE and organises events.
- Savings and loan association has been established.
